Aleppo Shriners Brass Band
Organized 1915

Mission

To prove Musical support at Ceremonials, Parades, and Activities promoting the Hospital and the Shrine.

History

Organized in 1915 as a Fire & Drum Corps, it added a brass section in 1916 and has evolved from a marching band to its current concert and parade riding band. For Aleppo Shrine Tour of Duty parades, we are part of the Aleppo parade structure of 16 Aleppo Shrine Units which creates a parade section almost a quarter mile long.

Having been in hundreds of parades over the years, the band promotes the Shrine by proudly displaying the Fez. This award winning band participates in regional and national shrine events whenever possible.

What's In it For Me?

Fun with music. If you ever played in a band, you remember all the fun of performing, the camaraderie of fellow musicians and the sound of applause.

Opportunities to use your musical training are getting fewer. Here's way to sharpen your skills and enjoy good fellowship.

The Aleppo Shrine Band builds Shrine and Masonic awareness with each performance. Here is an active way to promote our great fraternity.

The Aleppo Band get invitations to participate in community parades. This participation raises money to support the Shrine Hospital system and the Aleppo Hospital transportation Fund.

If you are a musician, consider joining us.
