Organized in 1915 as a Fife & Drum Corps, a brass section was
added in 1916 and the Band has since evolved from a marching band to
a current concert ensemble and parade riding band. For Aleppo Shrine
Tour of Duty parades, we are part of the Aleppo parade structure of
16 Aleppo Shrine Units which creates a parade section nearly a
quarter of a mile long.
Having been in hundreds of
parades over the years, the Band promotes the Shrine in general and
Aleppo in particular. This award winning band participates in
regional and national shrine events whenever possible

The Aleppo Band also receives invitations to participate in
community parades. This participation raises money to support the
Shrine Hospital system and the Aleppo Hospital transportation Fund.

the North Shore & the other on the South Shore. Duties
include: loading & unloading equipment from the Parade
trailer, setting up chairs & stands for rehearsals, and
ceremonial stage preparation.
