Organized 1974

The Aleppo Minutemen were organized in 1975. As a parade unit, we display patriotism and history in order to accomplish our ultimate goal of assisting in fundraising for the Shrine Hospital and it's Transportation Fund.

The Minutemen Unit parade 8 to 10 times per year to provide money for Shriners Hospitals. We have appeared in parades far and wide including Hawaii, bringing a lot of credit and attention to Aleppo Temple. Musters are held monthly with other social events during the year. The firing of the muskets while parading snaps everyone to attention while the fife and drums demonstrate the Colonial beat.

There are a variety of ways for one to become involved in this unique experience.

Flags

We proudly display the history of our country with a variety of flags, in floor presentations and parades. ...Bennington Betsy Ross 1776 and many more.

Music

Fife and drum, taught and directed by our Music Master and Drum Sgt, are used to play traditional colonial music, as well as an occasional Civil War or novelty tune.

Muskets

Each person choosing to carry a musket, is given instruction in care and safety, by the participating in parades and other activities.
